Having completed its eighth season, this thriving gite complex has a lot to offer to an enthusiastic purchaser. Presently, all the properties are offered as holiday rentals, but it is possible for the owner to live on-site. The Longhouse, a Breton longere, provides accommodation as three self-contained gites, comprising two x 3 bedrooms and one x 2 bedroom property. The Shorthouse is a detached two bedroom cottage with a small private patio garden.
Set in its own grounds, the complex offers many facilities such as an 11 x 4.2 metre heated swimming pool, fenced childrens' play area with swing, slide and climbing wall, a tarmac short tennis/badminton court, boules court and trampoline, all in a large communal grassed area. The purpose-built playroom is a big hit with children and adults alike. A laundry room and a bike storage area complete the list.
Situated in the small rural village of Kermaux, south of Pontivy which is on the River Blavet and an important link to the Nantes/Brest canal, to the west there is St Nicolas des Eaux, very popular with canal and river enthusiasts as well as walkers & cyclists. Its location provides good routes to visiting the south coast of the Morbihan, places such as Vannes, a vibrant little medieval city with many attractions. Vannes stands on the Golfe of Morbihan and there are many beautiful beaches for which Southern Brittany is famous within easy reach of Kermaux.
