The house has been used for holidays for nine years. Two previous owners were British. It is within an hour or so of many of the lovely Loire Chateaux including Amboise (inc Clos Luce - Leonardo da Vinci former home and now museum and grounds), Chenonceau, Villandry, Valencay and Cande, location of the marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Also close to World Heritage sites, the entire Loire valley region with its numerous caves and troglodyte villages and a number of wine producing areas including Vouvray, Montrichard/Montlouis, Chinon, Anjou and Sancerre. Plenty of lake/river fishing nearby (permit), cycling, golf, water sport, horse racing/trotting at La Roche de Posay or picnic opportunities. Also attractions including Beauval Zoo, Loire Aquarium, Mini Chateaux, Fantasy Forest and many beautiful villages and more.
