It is an easy drive to beaches at Meschers (20mins), St George de Didonne and Royan (30 mins). The area has the second highest amount
of sunshine per year in France. The interesting towns of Pons (20mins), La Rochelle (60mins) and Cognac(60mins) are easily accessible.
Mortagne is 20 minutes from the Pons junction of the A10. Nearest airport is La Rochelle with alternatives of Poitier & Bordeaux (80 mins).
The area is interesting, relaxing and has enough to keep the active busy.
