Description
An individual stone house of character set in an elevated position which was built by the original owner, a Creuse stonemason, circa 1930. The house was later enhanced by the addition of the highest quality joinery and panelling by the owners son, a cabinetmaker.
The family lived in the house until the present owners bought it in 2005 and retains many period features including oak parquet floors, cast iron radiators, some lovely 1930's porcelain in the bathrooms, traditional windows and intricate cast ironwork guard rails.
Following recent improvements, the house now boasts a swimming pool, new kitchen and bathroom (Including spa bath) and redecoration inside and out. There are four bedrooms, two of which have ensuite bathrooms. The property benefits from oil fired central heating. The loft is insulated.
