Is France Property Shop an estate agent?
No. This site is a platform for estate agents, developers and private sellers to advertise property. You will need to contact the advertiser directly through the contact forms.
I have enquired about a property but had no reply?
Some advertisers, particularly private sellers will only check their email occasionally. Please remember that they may be on holiday or at work and will get back to you when they can.
If you haven’t received a reply within a reasonable time please contact us and we will try and help.
My detailed search has brought up no results.
Properties are being added to the site all the time, save your search and you can request an email alert if a new property is added that matches your criteria.
Login and Registration Issues
Why can't I log in?
Have you registered? You must register in order to log in to the site.
If you have registered and still cannot log in then check you have entered your username and password correctly. Make sure there are no spaces before or after your email address or password. If you have forgotten your password, please use the ‘forgotten password’ link and your password will be emailed to you.
Do I need to register?
You don’t have to register to search and enquire about property but if you want to save searches or advertise you will need to take a few minutes to register.
Why do I get logged off automatically?
If you do not check the Log me in automatically box when you log in, the website will only keep you logged in for a set amount of time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the site from a shared computer.
I've lost my password.
To have your password sent go to the login page and click forgotten your password. Fill in your email address and your password will be sent to you.
I registered but cannot log in.
Check that you are entering the correct username and password. If you were sent an email then follow the instructions; if you did not receive the email then check that your email address is valid. If you are still having problems contact us via the contact us page on the site.
User Preferences and settings
How do I change my personal details?
Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and you can change your details within ‘Edit your profile’.
How do I see my saved searches?
Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and you can view saved searches within ‘View your saved searches’ section.
How do I set up property alerts emails that inform me when new properties are added to the site that match my chosen criteria?
Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and click on the ‘View your shortlist’ section. Here you can turn on/off alerts for each saved search. When an alert is turned on you will be emailed if a property matching your criteria is added to the site.
How do I delete property alerts emails?
Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and click on the ‘View your shortlist’ section. Here you can turn off alerts for each saved search. When an alert is turned off you will no longer be emailed an alert.
How do I see my saved or shortlisted property?
Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and you can view saved properties within ‘View your shortlist’ section.
Advertising
How do I advertise my private property on the site?
Go to ‘Advertise Your Property’ section. Click on the ‘order your property package’ for private sellers. If you are not registered, you must first register on the site. If you have already registered you must log in and select the appropriate package. Follow the steps to pay securely online. Once paid, you will receive an email receipt and a credit on your account. Go to ‘My Account’ section and you will see a new section called ‘manage your property listing/s’. Follow the user guide to upload your property for sale.

How do I advertise my estate agency on the site?
Go to ‘Advertise Your Property’ section. Click on the ‘order your property package’ for agents. Select the appropriate package and contact us. There is no online payment for agents. But you can pay on the phone or stage payments over the package duration via invoice.
Is there a limit to the amount of words and images I can upload per property?
No, you can upload as many words and images as you like. The more descriptive the advert, the better.
If I am having trouble uploading, is there a help guide or tutorial?
Within the ‘My Account’ section there is a ‘View the help guide (PDF)’ link to help you with your upload. Alternatively you can watch the video tutorial. If you are still having problems simply contact us by phone during office hours (9am - 5.30pm - Monday to Friday UK time – excluding bank holidays) or email us through the contact us link at the top of every page and we will be happy to help.
How do I check the enquiries from the site?
When a potential buyer fills out the form at the end of a property advert, an email will be sent to you. Also, you can login to your account at any time and see all the enquiries you have had by clicking the ‘View your property enquiries’ link.
As an agent can I have a stock of property on the site and then have control of the properties I would like to show?
Yes. You can upload more than your package allowance and then choose at any time which properties you wish to show live on the site.
How do I change the details of my property?
Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section click on the ‘manage your property listing/s’ link. Here you can edit your property details. Make sure you go through all 7 steps in order to save your changes.
My property is now sold, how do I remove it from the site?
Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section click on the ‘manage your property listing/s’ link. Here you can delete your property listing.
