This character property with a guest cottage, barns, workshop, stables and garage is set on 15,830 sq m of land (4 acres) mainly grazing/paddocks near Barfleur in the Cottentin area of Normandy.

The cottage (originally the cider press) with on the ground floor a large living room and stone fireplace, kitchen, sep. WC, and on the first floor a landing, two double bedrooms and a shower room with basin and WC. Next to the cottage is the fishpond, and a gate into the walled ('curate’s') garden. An outside metal staircase in the curate’s garden leads up to the first floor apartment comprising a living room, open kitchen, large double bedroom and shower room with basin and WC. Beneath the apartment and up to the gates into the fields, are stalls for horses, a foaling barn and a garage. All the buildings are in granite with thick walls, heavily insulated in the habitable areas.
The barns and stabling make the property ideal for horses as well as having a multitude of other uses. The bakehouse could perhaps be converted into a studio if further accommodation was required, as possibly could the upper section of the barn looking out west over the fields, giving potentially 9 – 10 bedrooms.
