The castle is surrounded by dry moats and an irregular polygonal enclosure with buttressed walls protruding at the corner of curtain walls of over 12 meters high. These are crowned by the walkway still present on the facade of the two towers. The logis is soberly furnished, recreating medieval atmosphere. The commoons are fitted for living purposes and can be uused for touristic activites.
Magnificent vaulted cellars have be restored and 2 underground halls were found under a large square tower discoverd in 1993.
